Mountain road to school in Yunnan Province

This is the beautiful Great Rift Valley (大裂谷) in Wuding, Yunnan Province (云南武定). The scene is charming as well as dangerous. Photographers love this place. But to the elementary students there, it is scary. The local education authority closed some elementary school and force the students to go to the central elementary school. In order for them to attend the school, they must travel on this road twice a week. Some students go as far as ten kilometers (6 miles). One student felled out and died.
