Hangar One siding removal

Do you like Hangar One at Moffett Field? It will stay there but will appear differently because removal of the siding will begin soon (in June 2011). This is necessary due to asbestos, lead, and PCBs it contains.

After this step is done, we will have a hangar without skin. It will be more like a hangar being built since there will be steel skeleton left there only. Save Hangar One Committee urges the authorities to “Re-Skin” Hangar One! I hope Hangar One can be preserved.
