Extraordinary road to school, extraordinary teachers and extraordinary students

For 18 years, students of Erping village elementary school of Wushi Bridge Village, Liang Shan Yi Minority Autonomous prefecture of Sichuan, China, have the most dangerous road from home to school. They have to go through a narrow path zigzags up a cliff of almost 90 degrees, then climb up five steep wooden ladders and walk on mountain road for about 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) before they can reach the school. Their teachers are a couple Mr. Chen Guilin and Ms. his wife Lu Jianfen. In 2008, their names are listed as “Extraordinary people of 2008“.
