A Shelter of a Migrant Worker in China

The special shelter

On October 18, 2009, my friend and I saw a special shelter in Taizhou city, Zhejiang province.

The shelter is embedded in a cave. A few log raise his bed up. Below is his kitchen. Inside of the kitchen is a water pond full of spring water.

Outside the shelter is the road. There is a hut as a storage for daily supplies as well as empty plastic bottles that he collected.

The owner is an optimistic migrant worker from Guizhou province. It is said that he works at a famous beer brewery nearby. He has lived in this shelter for more than twomonths.
